State of the Course

Hello all,

Wanted to fill you in on what is going on at the course

- Right now we are still working on completing the remodel of our driving range. It will be closed for some time. We have overseeded an area for temporary use by the short range. That area will open up on Nov 1st for full club use.

1 - We are going to work on cart paths. We have asphalt millings that are going to be laid down. This should give us a very solid cart path and help eliminate dust. It will also allow us to grow grass back up some of the hills and get rid of the many bare spots on the course. Will also help our carts last a little longer.

2 - We will be working on all the bunkers on the course, we had a brutal monsoon season that damaged many bunkers. We will repair and add sand to those.

3 - We will continue to work on weak grassy areas throughout the course, we have sodded most of the dirt area on the right side of 16 and will finish it this month. You may from time to time see roped off areas. Please do not play from or drive on these areas. We are trying to get the course back to its prime condition and if we have to rope off or close areas, we will.

Finally I would like to take the time to request we all use sand and seed bottles, repair ball marks and let golf shop staff know of anything you notice on the course. We will listen to all comments and take appropriate steps to correct your concerns.

Thank you, I know I don't get the chance to chat with everyone as much as I would like, but know my door is always open and everyone is welcome.
